To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?

Isaiah 40:25-28

“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?”says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Why do you complain, O Jacob? Why do you say, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 

“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?”says the Holy One. There is nobody like our God, and nobody will ever love us as much as He does and has always loved. He created us, molds us into a beautiful vessel, saves us, heals us, and is just too awesome with our unworthiness. We cannot compare Him at all, and we cannot compare how God works in our lives with someone else's life. For example; Wow, she/he is so blessed, I wish____. (Hold on, stop!) God loves us all beyond what we can ever imagine, just being here one Earth, breathing, seeing the splendor of his majesty in everyday life, in every face, we are blessed. We cannot compare him at all. Who He is, what He has done by humbling Himself as a man, suffering, taking our sins on his back, getting pierced for us, to set us free, to give us life, He has always blessed and loved. It is up to us, and surely we do not want to lose our life by a mere earthly comparison. 

"Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." Just take a moment and allow His holiness to melt in you, every amazing detail of what we see on earth, is God's creation. Since "not one of them is missing," why would we ever think we will be looked over, or forgotten? He calls us forth by name as well, He knows us, knows all about us and still He loves us, we are not overlooked rather lavished with love. Do not allow horrible thoughts to take control of you, when you doubt, just "lift up your eyes and look to the heavens."

Why do you complain? Why do you say,“My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. 

"He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." Wow. This grips my heart every time. Honestly, how many times do we say, complain, cry, scream out that we are forgotten? Or that he does not listen to our prayers, that maybe we are not good enough. (Well, we will never be good enough, He is the Un-Created, infinite, magnificent, forgiving, loving God, this is the truth; it is because of his grace and mercy, his love, and forgiveness we are privileged enough to be called children of God.) We constantly allow negative thoughts to take control of us, but we must demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 emphases added).
